Tacony is getting a new park. Work will start in the summer or fall on Lardner's Point Park adjacent to the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge. As PlanPhilly reports

Metropolis is asking which neighborhoods have changed the most over the last decade -- for better or worse. Each neighborhood was measured against the city as a whole based on household income, home values, poverty, growth or decline in population and the ratio of homeowners to renters. Ten neighborhoods fared worse when compared with the city average, including Oxford Circle into Castor Gardens, Tacony, Wissinoming and Frankford.
