Riverfront North Partnership is seeking input from area residents and greenway users to help steer the focus of the organization for the next 10-20 years. Included in the updated master plan will be a look at connector streets from the trail to the neighborhood under Interstate 95, an expansion of open space along the river, and programming and land uses along the riverfront.
The public meeting will be an open-house format, with poster boards and a large maps explaining upcoming and existing projects, programing and plans to community members. Throughout the evening, there will be a short 5 minute presentation to give an overview of the project. There will be physical and virtual maps for participants to immerse themselves in the geography of Riverfront North. Participants will be asked about immediate needs as well as what other amenities they want to see along the riverfront in the next 10-20 years. Assisting Riverfront North for this master plan update is a consultant team led by Philadelphia planning and design firm NV5.
Updated information regarding this project can be found at riverfrontnorth.org/masterplan as it is released.
