Monday, April 15, 6pm. PennDesign, Meyerson Hall, 210 South 34th Street. Renowned architect and planner Sir Terry Farrell will give a lecture about his work transforming London’s skyline and the banks of the Thames. Farrell reflects on his decades in practice in his new book, Shaping London: The patterns and Forms That Make the Metropolis. Free.

Tuesday, April 16, 6-8pm, Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch St. As part of the 10-part lecture series about the architecture, history and politics of Philadelphia, historian Jeffrey Cohen of Bryn Mawr College will discuss Victorian Philadelphia.
