REVEAL: Re-imagining 8th and Berks

Friday, November 1. 4pm - 6pm. Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch Street, Philadelphia. How can one parcel make a difference? Friday teams participating in a Community Design Collaborative charrette will come up with transformative redevelopment ideas for the vacant, city-owned 1.8-acre parcel at 8th and Berks. Friday evening, the public is invited to a reveal and reception where charrette participants will present a range of redevelopment alternatives. The lot will be part of Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha's (APM) SCI-Eastern North strategy. RSVP online. Cost: $10, $5 for students and members of the Collaborative Community Champions program

BIKE: Take Your Time Bicycle Ride

Saturday, November 2. 1pm - 4pm. Fairmount Bicycles, 2015 Fairmount Ave, Philadelphia. Since April, Fairmount Bicycles has been holding "take your time" monthly bike rides. This month's will tour both the city and its bike shops - complete with snacks along the way. The 12-mile tour will begin at Fairmount Bicycles and end at Lemon Hill for drinks. Free bike rentals are available. Free, register online

CELEBRATE: Keith Haring mural rededication 

Saturday, November 2. 1pm - 3pm. 22nd and Ellsworth Streets, Philadelphia. The We The Youth mural by famed artist Keith Haring has been restored and Mural Arts is celebrating! The bright, playful mural is Haring's only collaborative public mural remaining intact on its original site. The mural has been painstakingly restored, and the adjacent garden has been restored. Saturday's celebration will include DJ-ed music, food trucks, performance by The CityKids Foundation and family-friendly activities. Free. 

TASTE: Coffee and Tea Festival Philadelphia

Saturday, November 2 & Sunday, November 3. 10am - 5pm. Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, PA. Philly will host this New York-born coffee and tea, sampling and educational event for the first time this weekend. The festival includes more than 40 exhibitors and lessons on traditional Japanese tea ceremonies, fair trade practices, pairing coffee and tea with honey or cocktails and more. Cost: Tickets begin at $20 per day or $30 for the weekend

CLOSING: Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards

Sunday, November 3. Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media, PA. Don't miss your last chance to stock up on pumpkins and fall cheer at Linvilla Orchards' Pumpkinland, which closes for the season this Sunday. This weekend will still feature the corn maze, hayrides, apple cider donuts and the orchard's towering scarecrows - and of course the 100+ tons of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes. Linvilla's garden center will remain open after Sunday. Cost: Pay as you go
